Fowlkes, Norman and Associates is a private, locally-owned design/build landscape company. As horticultural professionals, we specialize in the design and management of landscape projects of all sizes, whether residential or commercial, with a primary emphasis on quality products and customer service.
The seed for Fowlkes, Norman & Associates was planted in 1989, when Fort Worth natives Ken Norman and Mark Fowlkes, both horticulturists and designers, joined their two respective landscape businesses into one. The early focus on zoo habitat and public space design, including installation and management at such projects as the Dallas Zoo, the Fort Worth Zoo, Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Kimbell Art Museum, laid the groundwork for our reputation as innovative and creative landscape professionals.
We have continued to build this reputation through many residential projects, ranging from small intimate courtyards to large private estates. The cornerstone of the company continues to be long-term relationships made possible by a loyal client base; our success would not be possible without the client’s support and confidence.
We are committed to the community in which we live. Our company regularly puts our creative talents and resources to work for local charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Warm Place, Lena Pope Home, and many others.
Ken Norman retired from Fowlkes, Norman & Associates in 1996, but continues to play a vital role through his custom growing of the seasonal color used on many of our landscape projects. His mentoring and guidance continues to aid a growing staff of designers and horticulturists.
